*Happy Public Holiday Wishes to Ghana*
_By Biyam N-naandan Wisdom, President, Upgrade Ghana Youth Parliament_

Fellow Ghanaians, home and abroad,
Today we pause, celebrate, and reflect together. On behalf of the Upgrade Ghana Youth Parliament, I extend warm wishes to every citizen as we mark this public holiday.
*A Day to Honour Who We Are*
Public holidays remind us that a nation is more than borders and buildings. It is the farmers in the Ashanti Region, the traders at Kejetia, the students burning midnight oil in Kumasi, Tamale, Accra, and beyond, and the diaspora carrying Ghana’s name with pride. This day belongs to all of us.
*A Day to Appreciate Progress*
Ghana’s story is one of resilience. From independence to innovation, we have shown that unity can move mountains. As young leaders, we at the Upgrade Ghana Youth Parliament see it in classrooms, in tech hubs, in creative spaces, and in communities choosing to build rather than break.
*A Day to Commit to the Future*
Celebration without responsibility is incomplete. Let this holiday renew our pledge to serve: to uphold peace, protect our environment, support each other’s enterprise, and raise the standard of leadership at every level. The Ghana we want is the Ghana we must build, together.
To our elders, thank you for laying the foundation. To our youth, thank you for daring to dream bigger. To every worker keeping Ghana moving today, we see you and we salute you.
May this public holiday bring you rest, joy with family and friends, and renewed hope for our beloved country.
*Happy Public Holiday, Ghana. Forward ever, Ghana ever.*
